Installation

Via Composer (Recommended)

composer require someplus/module-free-shipping-bar
bin/magento module:enable SomePlus_FreeShippingBar
bin/magento setup:upgrade
bin/magento cache:flush

Manual Installation

  1. Create directory app/code/SomePlus/FreeShippingBar
  2. Copy module files to this directory
  3. Run:
bin/magento module:enable SomePlus_FreeShippingBar
bin/magento setup:upgrade
bin/magento cache:flush

Configuration

Navigate to Stores → Configuration → SomePlus → Free Shipping Bar

General Settings

Setting Description
Enable Turn the module on/off
Free Shipping Threshold Minimum cart amount for free shipping
Include Tax Include tax in calculation

Display Positions

Choose where to show the progress bar:

  • Header (sticky bar below header)
  • Mini Cart
  • Cart Page
  • Checkout Page

Design Settings

Customize colors:

  • Progress Bar Color
  • Background Color
  • Text Color
  • Achievement Color (when threshold reached)

Messages

Customize messages with placeholders:

  • {{remaining}} - Amount left to reach threshold
  • {{threshold}} - Target amount
  • {{current}} - Current cart total
  • {{percentage}} - Progress percentage

Compatibility

Each Magento release line is installed on its supported PHP versions, then the module is built (DI compilation + static-content deploy) and its unit and integration suites are run. The matrix shows the lines and PHP versions the module is confirmed to install and run on. Code-quality results further down (phpstan, phpcs, …) are reported separately and never affect compatibility.

Code Quality

Advisory checks against the module's source. Static analysis runs once across the whole module; PHPStan re-runs per Magento + PHP version because resolvable symbols differ between releases. These NEVER affect the Compatibility badge. A phpcs finding can't make a module incompatible.
