Siteation - Hyva Icon Pack - Payment

This Magento 2 module is the Hyvä adapter for the payment-icon library. The SVG
marks and the framework-agnostic renderer now live in
siteation/magento2-icons-payment
(which works on Luma, Hyvä, Nebula or any theme); this package adds the Hyvä-only
conveniences on top:

• Hyvä-CMS icon picker + {{icon "payment/…"}} template tag (the payment prefix
  mapping), and
• the Siteation\HyvaIconsPayment\ViewModel\PaymentIcons / …Flat / …Mono view
  models (Hyvä SvgIcons-based), kept for backwards compatibility.

You only need this package for Hyvä-CMS icon authoring. For plain rendering — in a
Luma/Nebula theme, or a framework-agnostic surface like the Siteation standalone
checkout — require siteation/magento2-icons-payment directly instead.

Installation

Install the package via;

composer require siteation/magento2-hyva-icons-payment
bin/magento setup:upgrade

Warning This Module requires Magento 2.4 or higher and requires Hyva!
For more requirements see the composer.json.

How to use

By default this module loads nothing.

To use this icon pack instead of the default Hyva icons, add the following to your phtml file;

This feature is supported since Hyva v1.1.12

Prefix Mapping Behavior

This module registers the payment SVG prefix for Hyva SvgIcons.

That means:

• payment/default/*, payment/flat/*, and payment/mono/* are resolved by this package.
• If another module also registers the same payment prefix, the effective mapping depends on Magento module merge order.

If you use multiple icon modules, verify prefix ownership and rendering in both frontend and adminhtml scope.

• The SVG library moved to the new framework-agnostic package
  siteation/magento2-icons-payment (now a required dependency). This package
  becomes a thin Hyvä adapter: its SvgIcons-based view models and the payment
  prefix mapping now resolve their assets from Siteation_IconsPayment::svg. No change
  to the view-model API or the Hyvä-CMS icon picker.
• PaymentIconsInterface stays a type hint that declares nothing, so the view models
  are never bound to a signature owned by Hyvä. Its per-icon @method hints mirror
  the ones siteation/magento2-icons-payment generates.

Fixed

• The Hyvä CMS icon picker resolves its previews in the adminhtml area, which has no
  fallback into a module's view/frontend. siteation/magento2-icons-payment 1.0.1
  serves the icons from view/base, so the payment prefix now resolves in both
  areas.

Removed

• view/frontend/web/svg/* (moved to siteation/magento2-icons-payment).
• bin/generate-icons-signatures (moved to siteation/magento2-icons-payment).

Migration

• Run composer update to pull in siteation/magento2-icons-payment, then
  bin/magento setup:upgrade. Any code referencing the asset path
  Siteation_HyvaIconsPayment::svg/... directly must switch to
  Siteation_IconsPayment::svg/.... The PaymentIcons/Flat/Mono view models and
  the {{icon "payment/…"}} tag are unchanged.
